Sit back and enjoy with Shoreline Cruises Learn about the park’s ecosystem and wildlife and take in the laughs as the guides share about local history.
Rent a paddleboard and take your personal cruise. It’s a fun challenge and an energetic way to take in the views on a calm day. Enjoy your paddle on your knees or add to your workout and challenge your core and as you try to stand up, it can take a minute to get used to, but it’s worth it!
Cameron Lake give you more opportunities to get out on the water with Cameron Lake Boat Rentals, from paddle boats to paddle boards and canoes, get out on the emerald water in your vessel of choice to take in the sounds of nature.
Red Rock Canyon can be busier in the summer months, but you can avoid peak times by going early morning or closer to sundown. Stroll around the canyon and listen to the flowing water but don’t forget to stop and take in the brightly coloured pools!
No matter what T.L.C. says, we think you should always go chasing waterfalls. Some of them here are easier to get to than others, but all are well worth the steps and effort.
Cameron Falls
This picturesque waterfall is right in the heart of town easily accessible by a short walk. The waterfall cascades over coluorful rocks and is surrounded by lush green vegetation, making it a popular spot for photography. For the best view, stop by in spring as the run off is stronger during spring melts.
Bertha Falls
This stunning 30 ft waterfall is located on the Bertha Lake Trail and is a moderate hike that takes about 1-2 hours to complete round trip or you can continue up as the trail steepens to head to Bertha Lake. Look around as you enjoy the sounds of the falls to find it surrounded by beautiful wildflowers and scenic views of the mountains.
Crypt Lake Falls
Located on the Crypt Lake Trail, one of the most popular hikes in the park. The trail is challenging, with steep inclines and narrow pathways, but the stunning views of the waterfall and Crypt Lake make it worth the effort.
There are many other experiences you can enjoy inside the park, rent surreys or electric bikes for a relaxing ride through the townsite.
