This short hike takes you through a beautiful mixed aspen forest and home to many of Waterton’s beautiful wildflowers. See the amazing effects of the recent forest fire up close as well as the regrowth of the forest floor vegetation. View the Waterton townsite from higher vantage points along the way. Climb up out of the forest to reach the point, an overlook with 360 degree views of the Waterton Valley. Look back towards the Prince of Wales or down towards Glacier National Park in the USA and enjoy this rest stop. This can be your turn around point or you can continue on to Bertha Falls and Lake, as well as the Lakeshore trail.
