After passing Crandell Mountain Campground, take your next left. Cross the bridge and continue onwards to the trail parking lot at the end of the road. (Trail access also available at the Crandell Mountain Campground if it is open.) This short hike will take you through Lodge Pole Pine forests gently ascending to where Crandell Lake sits. This emerald green lake sits in a low forested saddle between Ruby Ridge and Mount Crandell. This is a nice easy hike that the entire family will enjoy. The trail is also open to Mountain Biking.
